In recent years, most steel mills in my country have mass-produced some international steel grades with strong versatility and excellent performance. However, in general, the development of my country mold steel industry has fallen into a situation of large but not strong, ordinary mold steel has been overproduction, and high-end precision mold steel and imported mold steel still have a big gap. Every year, about 100,000 tons of high-quality mold steel in my country needs to be imported, which almost occupies the high-end market of mold steel, and the price is several times or even dozens of times higher than that of domestic mold steel.

Reducing material costs and developing high-end products are the key research and development directions that my country  mold steel industry needs in the future.
